There is something sacred about gathering around a table, a tablespoon of provision, hospitality, fellowship, celebration, harvest, gratitude, and abundance. It reminds us that the beauty and goodness we experience each day are gifts from a generous God. This exhibit, The Bountiful Table, celebrates the beauty of God‘s provision from the garden and the Biblical connections in the Scriptures.
This exhibit runs Oct. 14th - Nov. 21st.
Opening reception is free - Saturday, Oct. 16th from 10 -1 pm. Daily culinary delights are available during the exhibit to enjoy and watch magnadeo.org for special meal events around the table too.
An Evening of Classical Piano with Iryna Kudielina at Magna Deo
Saturday, Oct. 24th at 6:00 p.m.
Put on your festive attire and enjoy An Evening with Iryna Kudielina October 24th at 6:00 p.m. This meaningful and melodious evening will feature Iryna, who came from war torn Ukraine to study in the master’s program at SOU. Now here on a long-term visa, Iryna has established her life in Ashland, with her husband Evald and baby Lev. Iryna also works part time for Magna Deo in media and graphic design and we delightfully honor her for her life and her achievements. This evening will include study works by Brahms, Debussy, Chopin, as well as several special Ukrainian pieces, celebrating both beloved classical repertoire and Iryna’s Ukrainian heritage, plus classical hymns. $10 per guest. Advanced tickets are recommended as space is limited. Light refreshments will be available for purchase.
The evening will also include an opportunity to support Iryna’s twin sisters, who are currently applying for U.S. tourist visas, with hopes of pursuing student visas in the future. Those who would like to help may make a cash donation toward the expenses of their hopeful visit here with family.
Space is limited so please reserve your tickets early.
