Ascend Creatives Conference

We are honored to host our annual Ascend Conference 2026—now entering its 20th year—a gathering devoted to equipping and inspiring the next generation of creatives.

Taking place June 25–27, this year’s conference will feature renowned, multi-talented artist Chris Hopkins, joined by returning instructor Charity Hubbard, founder of the Rogue Classical Atelier in Medford, Oregon—the state’s only Art Renewal Center–accredited school.

Centered on this year’s theme, “The Instrument,” the conference explores the vital role artists, musicians, and vocalists play in God’s Kingdom economy—cultivating skill while faithfully expressing truth and beauty through their craft.

Registration opens April 1st, and creatives from across the West Coast are invited to join this energetic and inspiring gathering—designed for those who are craving more. Ascend calls artists to set their minds on things above, using their gifts to reflect the worthiness of the Creator and to shape the world with purpose.

Magna Deo — Grand Opening & Christening

At our grand opening, we will celebrate the Christening of Magna Deo. This event will feature music, our featured exhibit Let There Be Light II, which re-creates and re-envisions elements of our original touring exhibit which opened at the crystal Cathedral in Los Angeles in 2008. These days will mark the official launch of the center as a gathering place for artists, students, and patrons who share a vision for restoring and initiating faith inspired excellence in the arts, as well as for the curious who just want to know more.

This two day event will include, artist talks, art, demonstrations, music, and opportunities to meet the artists behind the works. Let There Be Light II exhibit will feature works from many of our founding artists, such as Thomas Blackshear, Michael Dudash, Chris Hopkins, Ron DiCianni, Frank Ordaz, plus new entries from our ever growing partnering artist artists who have illuminated God’s redemptive story—from Creation to the Cross—through the enduring theme of light.

This gathering is designed not only to celebrate artistic excellence, but also to invite reflection on how beauty can illuminate truth and point us toward Christ.

The Let There Be Light II exhibit will continue through the summer of 2026.
